The MERINO Handknit Zero Waste Sweater is hand knitted with 40% left over yarn scraps from previous collections. Finding creative ways to use left over yarn ensures that no yarn goes to waste. The little strands are knitted together with new yarn to give strength, but the yarn strands are so short that it’s not possible to hide every yarn end, giving this piece a unique look that highlight it’s “zero waste” identity. The sweater has loose sleeves with dropped shoulders contributing to it’s modern profile. Knitted, with 1×1 cuffs and a round, ribbed neckline. Handknit in 10-ply 100% fine mulesing free merino wool from South Africa.
